The Chevallier Brewing Company is based on the Norfolk / Suffolk border, right in the heart of barley growing country.
We are a mere stone’s throw from Aspall, where the original Chevallier Barley was first grown in 1826 by our forebear The Reverend John ‘Barley’ Chevallier. We may have had brewing heritage in our blood for more than two centuries, but we move with the times. We have a super modern brewery, adept at making all styles of beer, and whilst the styles and delivery of each differ, we love them all equally. Each is unique, but we take tremendous pride in putting every one of our beers together immaculately from the brew house to the bar.
We combine the finest East Anglian malted barley, from the fields of Norfolk, Suffolk and Cambridgeshire, with some of the most exciting hops to make essential everyday beer with complex flavours. We may have wide reaching and international tastes, but we are firmly rooted in Suffolk.
